The Weird Name
How "Octodancer" became our name.
Octodancer. It's a weird name, but it's interesting. I have an odd sense of humour. I enjoy a challenge. I wanted to build a brand based on celebrating life, creativity and the pursuit of dreams. Little did I know my daughter's passion for dancing would inspire me to build an apparel brand. Observing my daughter's incredible changes and growth reminded me that I need a platform for my own creativity. It seems like an insane investment of time and money, but then you see the results—the joy it brings to peoples' lives.
